Really enjoyed this race. There were a lot of fast ladies that pushed me to go faster, and I am really happy with the way I ran it. Perfect weather (~55 with a little drizzle). I went out easy and then picked up, and by mile 5 I hit the pace I wished to hold for the remaining time.  Except for the half mile hill in mile 10 (ugh) it was a really fast course, almost completely flat.

7:29, 7:29, 7:16, 7:11, 6:59, 6:56, 7:05, 6:59, 6:46, 6:58 (or close to it)

This could possibly extrapolate to a half marathon PR in two weeks, but the race will be much more challenging. I am also a little worried about my lack of endurance, but since I was able to pick it up during the second half of the race it must not be that bad.

Overall a great race day, and I hope to go to Richmond for this race again next year.

way to go, kelsey! that's a great time. i think your endurance is there. you only have to go 3.1 more for the half, and you closed the race strongly today so that's a great sign.

congrats on a great race today.

Great race! Awesome negative splits. You'll blow the half out of the water...
