Met up with a Thursday night tempo group and it was a lot of fun. Running with other people is awesome!! We did a mile warm up, then a 5k tempo (3.2 miles actually) @ 6:55, then a cool down. Not a bad time for a few hills and the really bad trail footing (sand and roots and stuff).

They just updated the Grand Prix standings and I managed to stay on top after the big races! Pretty exciting! I don't need to win but I would love to still plaec over all by the end of the year.

You go girl!

Congrats on your standing in the series. It feels good to be at the top of the list once in a while. I had that feeling for about 5 minutes on the mileage board last week :)

How are your joggling skills going? I tried it myself today and it's a lot harder than I expected. It was fun though :)

Thanks :)

The juggling practice has slipped lately, but I will have to get back into it. Did you actually run and juggle at the same time? How many steps were you able to go? I haven't even tried that yet, I have to learn to juggle standing still first!

I actually juggled and ran simultaneously :) I would catch them and start over pretty often rather than let them fall, although I did drop them a lot too. The longest stretch where I kept them in the air was almost a quarter of a lap.

Wow, I am thoroughly impressed with your joggling skills! You've re-motivated me to keep trying.
