Today was Clarky's racing debut at the Richmond SPCA dog jog! If the race allowed us, I wanted to get him close to 7 minutes, possibly a 6:59. But we started out in the back and had tons of walkers in front of us. So we spent a while passing people in the beginning, but about half way in we were in a really nice spot. Clark did so well with the other dogs, and only sat down twice mid-race. I still can't figure out why he does that...

Beautiful weather, fantastic event, and we were able to raise 300 dollars for a great cause!

Oh, and there was a "Tako Truck" there and I followed it up with two amazing fish tacos. Yummm.

Congrats to you and Clarky. He got a pretty good time with the weaving and a couple sit-downs! He's in line for a big PR next time.

I'm not sure how big he is, but it always embarrasses me that even the tiniest runt dogs seem to have no problem keeping up with me.

Thanks Joe! I was a proud mama. He is a growing boy, he is up to a little over 30 pounds now. He wasn't a big fan of the runt dogs either :)
